The Great Dr. Michael Parenti, read him and organize. Although he is a Marxist, you can learn from him. Then Look to the philosophy of No Gods, No Masters, and Mutual Aid!!!

Mike Parenti's research is always so helpful because I lived the before and after of Reagan and the Media would sometimes refer to Reagan as _"the Teflon President_ (because no Scandal would stick to him)" when in fact, it WAS the media that let Reagan slip through their fingers time and again. Why? Because Reaganomics enriched the owners of media. Reagan strengthened the power of the ruling class. Their power had been watered down by a strong Middle Class after FDR reformed and strengthened government regulations of especially Banks (regulation became a word that Actor Reagan made taboo to the public that had benefited from it). So again; remembering who the owners were, note this -> 50:30 .

Noam Chomsky seems to have a we vs them approach when it comes to the Zeitgeist of the last few centuries but humans have been living in oppressive structures for millennia. Any form of human organisation has been oppressive or even if it might have been equalitarian at some point it lead to an oppressive dictatorial system the more complex societies had become, which begs the question . . WHY?

Chomsky mentions both good and bad propaganda... The 'good' kind, as in education or business, is still a sort of brainwashing. He's so brilliantly fast here that I need to read his books just to catch up with myself. Fantastic mind!

Saddam Hussain was Washington's poster boy years ago, the Iraqi people had a revolution in 1958 and they kicked out the British and American oil companies and they built a democratic country, every time time they talk about we got to go in there and teach the Iraqi's democracy there's the lie of omission they forget they had a democracy they forget they had a constitutional government, a prime minister. Saddam Hussain first gig with the CIA was to shoot the prime minister' which he did he didn't kill him he just wounded him and CIA got him out and brought him to Syria he later on worked his way in he killed or he drove into exile or he drove underground every constitutionalist every progressive every reformer every democrat every communist in the country who had formed this coalition he even then killed slaughtered and murdered the whole left wing of his own Baathist party, this is the part they never tell you about Saddam Hussain and while he was doing that he was Washington's poster boy they loved him they gave him aid they gave him a good chunk of the oil market they signed him onto Iran to go fight a proxy war for them against Iran's own revolution because the US lost control of Iran's oil after the Iranian revolution he was their everything but then he started committing economic nationalism he kept the economy state owned he trained a cadres of engineer he did not turn Iraq into a free market client state he did not open it up to global international investment he did no say come on in boys its all yours the land the labor the oil the resources he did not say just give me and my brother some money and we will keep the people in line for you... and that is when they turned against Saddam. Could not have said it any better. If only people knew about the actual context of the whole situation about Iraq I do not think for a second the American public would have ever supported the invasion of the sovereign country of Iraq ! People are quick to forget, they are not interested in politics enough and the ramification and consequences of the disastrous US foreign policy and its effects on the population of other countries.. it is never about bringing democracy and helping the people or for humanitarian reasons like they tell the masses when they go to war but always about the interests of a few at the top controlling things from the shadows. Those in the shadows who exercise and hold true power and influence world events on a scale few could even understand. Iraq, despite all of its problems, was a danger of a bad example for the middle east, the danger of a good example and they had to get rid of this problem by destroying its government and society. Now it backfired on them after they installed a Shia Muslim dominated government who aligned itself with Shia Iran. A 5 year old could of seen that coming but not those in control of the US foreign policy ? It seems to me that people never think about thinking a little more. That would be very dangerous for the establishment tough !
